DISABILITY INCLUSION RWANDA (DIR): is the national non governmental organisation made up mainly by Self Advocates and some parents. It operates at national level by advocating for the right-based inclusion in all national programs and in daily life for the betterment of people with disabilities, especially persons with mental/ intellectual disabilities in Rwanda.

Our Mission

All forms of discrimination, segregation, and stigmatisation toward persons with any type of disability including mental disabilities (intellectual disabilities, autism, cerebral palsy, dawn syndrome, neuro-mental challenges and psycho-social challenges) are abolished in Rwanda.
